Mission

The IT office of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse, strives to support and empower our fellow ministries in evangelization through the judicious application of available technologies.  We have the privilege of being a component of each of those ministries, and a responsibility, ultimately to the people they serve.

Services

This office provides technical support for Diocesan administration offices as well as email and other Google related services for diocesan administration, parish and school employees.

• IT Standards for computer purchases

  • Purchasing and data migration services.  

• The Office of Information Systems  provides consulting and troubleshooting of mission critical applications to parishes.  For a list of general guidelines parishes are expected to follow with regards to technology, please reference the technology section of the Standard Operating Procedures for Parishes.

  • Direct support for the 14 Schools in the Western and Northern Region.

  • Indirect support (consultation, planning, central managed services) for all other Catholic Schools in the Diocese.
